The Hillsdale Roberta Metal Daybed is a romantic classic thanks to a timeless design rooted in elegance and simplicity. This daybed features welcoming arched panels with airy openings punctuated by classic scrollwork and straight spindles. Brass caps, rounded arms and a powder-coat finish in fresh white give this daybed a distinctively soft touch. Despite its delicate appearance, this metal bed is crafted from heavy-case tubing with a fully welded construction for remarkable strength and durability. All Roberta Daybed options include a support system. To suit your unique requirements, you may choose to add a daybed mattress, trundle with no mattresses, or trundle with two mattresses. Assembly is easy: Simply attach the back and side panels to the support system with common household tools.

Optional mattress is the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress. Crafted with multiple layers of resilient foam filling, the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress will provide outstanding comfort and medium-firm support for any twin-size bed or daybed. Machine tufting and high-performance, 2.0 density foam help retain the mattress shape, and double layers of polyester on top and bottom provide a clean, crisp look. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress, while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.

Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
