The finish features worn edges and corners where a red finish shows through the rubbed areas. This gives the nightstand the look of having been passed down for generations.       Looked for a long time to find bedside pieces to compliment prior furniture purchased from Crate & Barrel. Wonderfully surprised by appearence and overall quality. Table was shipped fully constructed... and packed extremely well.

      Oh, and now I'm about to purchase another for the other side of the bed. :)

        Have late 19th century Chinese screen being utilized as a head board in a guest bedroom. We untilized the night stands on each side of the bed and screen. These night stands are the perfect practical and visual complement. Thank you.
