I put this bench in the hallway and it's great!! Good size for me (maybe small for some) and it works great for hiding toys etc. when you need to pick up your family room in a hurry.

This was a bit of a splurge for more of a decorative piece, for our living room but has turned into so much more! We have placed it in our living room infront our main window and it's great. Our two daughters use it for their shoes which keeps the entry way CLEAN!! And also just love to sit and look out the window on it. I've gotten lots of compliments since we've moved and put this up and it is a really great addition to our living room. It's very sturdy, nice color, and my husband had it together in maybe a half hour. I would really reccommend this. It's not too big or too small .. it's just a GREAT piece.

Needed a decent size storage bench for our entry. I was trying to match the color of my console table and this was perfect. It's a cherry dark mahogany color. I love that it is a little longer than most standard size benches. The kids store their backpacks in it and use it to get their shoes on. I love the fact that now my entry is not a dumping ground for the kids stuff. I am not sure that as an adult I would sit on it..but it's attractive and works for the kids. The only thing that was annoying was the directions had my husband put on the springs/hinges on backwards at first. Although he figured it out pretty quickly.
