To prevent overall soil, frequent light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended. Spot clean using a mild water-free solvent or dry cleaning product. Clean only in a well-ventilated room and avoid any product containing carbon tetrachloride, which is highly toxic. Pretest small area before proceeding. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended.

I was very leary about purchasing a headboard on-line for such a low price. I'm so glad I did! I received the headboard in less than a week and it was in beautiful condition. The material is very soft and sleek. The headboard itself is quite substantial and I was able to attach it myself with a large flathead screwdriver and pink grip pliers in about 30 minutes. It would have been much easier if I had a helper. The quality is great for the price. My bedroom looks like it's straight out of Elle Decor because of this piece.

I bought this headboard because it was available in the color and material I was looking for and I liked the "nail button" detail. I'm not willing to go through the trouble of returning it, but I am not happy with this purchase. First of all, what they call a "nail button border" is not what most people would expect. The "nail buttons" are not individual nails or tacks, like you've seen on old-fashioned furniture; they are actually strips of connected metal circles shaped like nail/tack heads. You can't tell this from the picture online, but from about two feet away, it is obvious. This was the most disappointing thing for me because it makes the headboard look low-quality. Secondly, the bolts that came with the headboard were not long enough to go through my bed-frame and secure at the other side. If your frame is thicker than about 3/4 of an inch, you'll have to buy longer bolts to attach it, like I did. Lastly, be sure to check the height listed on the product description. The height is suitable for a mattress and box-spring, but it doesn't adjust low enough for just a mattress on top of a platform, like mine. As is, I can see about 4 inches of the black headboard frame against my white walls, which is pretty unattractive. I will probably end up cutting the frame to fix it. On a positive note, the material is exactly what I expected - soft microfiber in a nice shade of red, and it is cushy enough to lean on comfortably. Overall, this headboard is an improvement over what I had before (no headboard)[...]I love Hayneedle because of its selection, but I am definitely going to be more careful next time!

I ordered this based off of the good reviews. I wasn't sure about the colors available because online the pictures are hard to see so I called and a very nice person put me on hold while they called the company who makes them to ask if there was a light grey but there wasn't so they suggested the silver saying it looked more light grey than silver. I ordered and when it came it was the perfect silver. It's almost more a light grey like they said. It looks awesome! Also I had the customer service guy check on the color of the nail heads that I would get with silver and its silver. The nail heads are individually attached and are a shiny silver but it blends well with the matte silver in my room. Construction time was about a month and its good quality. Not to heavy and it came with all the pieces needed to attach to my bed frame.

I was a bit nervous buying this without seeing the fabric, but it looks fantastic. Very pleased with the headboard. They add so much to the beds. Also, it came much sooner than expected which was also a bonus!
