To prevent overall soil, frequent light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended. Spot clean using a mild water-free solvent or dry cleaning product. Clean only in a well-ventilated room and avoid any product containing carbon tetrachloride, which is highly toxic. Pretest small area before proceeding. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended.
Care Instructions for All Other Materials (including Bokarah, Twill, and Velvet):
To prevent overall soil, frequent light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended. Spot clean with a mild solvent, an upholstery shampoo, or the foam from a mild detergent. When using a solvent or dry cleaning product, follow instructions carefully and clean only in a well-ventilated room. Avoid any product that is highly toxic. With either method, pretest a small area before proceeding. Use a professional furniture cleaning service when an overall soiled condition has been reached.

I am usually a high-end shopper but trying to bargain shop for a few items since I have to furnish a new house. This headboard was a great addition to my master bedroom. I got the duck-stone/khaki color which looks like a nice medium tan color. It doesn't look cheap and gives me some freedom to spend a little more on some of the other pieces in the room. I would definitely order it again. I might even get a different one for one of my guestrooms.

Upholstered headboard
Moderately priced padded headboard, easy to assemble by myself. Came before promised date. Only negative, there are a multitude of hanging threads from the piping that I had to carefully snip off.

I think this is a great headboard. I assembled while my husband was out of town. I just needed another person to help me get it in place, other than that it was easy. We ordered the Charcoal and I think it is realy nice looking. I would recommend this, definitely. My only hestitation is that the directions were not very clear and so it took me a bit to figure it out, but once you do, it was easy.

I was hesitant to order this online as I was not sure of the quality or color.
The quality is excellent and the price is really good(50% less than Crate and Barrel).
Also the color was perfect to match my comforter. It was a little tricky to attach. You need two people. I would definetly order again.
