There's something to be said for symmetry, especially when it's expressed so beautifully, like in the European Farmhouse Maisonette 8 Drawer Dresser. Crafted of Dutch white cedar solids with white cedar and ash burl veneers, this dresser comes in your choice of finishes: choose terrain for a hand-waxed coffee shade with artisanal hand distressing; or blond, a natural, close-to-the-wood matte tone with a subtle cream accent glaze. With both finishes, you'll get a variety of hand-rubbed, burnished, and distressed effects that all combine to create a highly livable, totally lovable piece.
And then there's the stylish symmetry. With eight drawers, this dresser is banded down the center with a polished column that creates a focal point for the curvy shape. Little details like stacked lower moldings, a top edge profile, and angled corners create a look that might remind you of the Provencal countryside. The two top drawers feature dual pulls, while the lower drawers have a rosette ring pull right in the center. All are custom forged from antique brass, and every part of this dresser, from the corners to the brass, coordinate perfectly with the Maisonette Nightstand and other pieces in the European Farmhouse collection.
If you like, you can top this dresser off with the optional granite stone top. Chalky and black, the granite is covered in a hand-applied dusty matte which adds to the lived-in appeal. You'll also want to add the optional mirror. It features stylized photograph-inspired corners, a channel set for extra stability, and multiple hooks so you can hang it vertically or horizontally. It measures 38W x 3D x 43H inches.

Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight and/or a damp area. Arrange your furniture so it is not placed in front of or over heating or air conditioning vents. Avoid placing furniture directly under windows. Be careful not to place plastic materials (place mats, lamp bases, notebooks, etc.) on your furniture. Certain plastics have ingredients that may react with and damage the finish. Occasionally rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot for extended periods. Avoid creating marks on your furniture by placing a piece of felt, cloth, or leather under accessories. Lift objects from the top surface rather than dragging them across the finish when moving them. Use a protective pad when using your furniture as a writing surface (especially when using a ballpoint pen). Wipe up spills promptly. Water left over a prolonged period of time will cause white spots in the finish, and alcohol, perfume, after-shave, and medicines can cause severe damage to the finish. Dust frequently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. To remove accumulated dust or old furniture wax buildup, use a soft, lint-free cloth which has been dampened in a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth, and then apply furniture polish, wiping it in the direction of the wood grain. It's recommended that the furniture be polished every six months.
