A big six-cubby bookcase serves as the headboard, and it's got a slat-style back, spiraled pillars on the corners, and tapered crown molding. Slat-style panels, a scalloped bottom apron and spiral pillars make up the footboard. You can also add two optional drawers that provide convenient, space-saving storage right under your mattress. If you choose not to add the storage, the bed's side features a simple wood panel in a matching finish. No box spring is required.
