I really love this bed, but it took forever to assemble it! I wish there had been pilot holes for the wood slats. Other than really sore muscles, I had no problems with this bed frame.
Service and delivery comments:
Great delivery, but no one called me to set up a delivery time like I was led to believe. I called them, and the freight company set up a delivery time for the next day.

I consider myself a high-end bargain shopper, so I like good quality things but with a midrange price (i.e. Marshalls is my favorite place to buy clothes). This bed is attractive and a very good quality bed. Assembly is TIME CONSUMING, I think it took over four hours to put together, but I did do it by myself and twice screwed pieces in wrong and had to re-do (probably my fault, I usually have a hard time with assembly diagrams). [...] I recommend this bed and Hayneedle.

[...] I put it together by myself in less than 2 hours and I'm 3 months pregnant, so I was capable of lifting all the bulky parts without too much trouble. The bed looks great and feels sturdy, I still need to add the storage drawers underneath but so far it looks just as good as the picture.

My husband is almost 300 lbs and a tall man and he fits in this bed perfectly. Seems to support his weight good too. I was upset that the finish in several areas was scratched off because we already had it all unpacked. Really easy to put together too! I did it myself! Very classy looking too!

This is our main bed. Now everything else in the bedroom looks dated! [...] It was exactly as we expected and looks great. I was a little worried about losing the box spring, even though that is what I wanted, but the support is fine. You really need a good power screwdriver or a strong wrist to screw in the slats. We put it together in a couple hours and without getting in a big fight. Would buy again.
