I ordered two of these beds, one for each one of my daughters.
At first I was disappointed by the appearance of the bed because the color is painted on and sometimes in a sloppy way. Further away the bed looks very nice. It also came with a small ding on the head board. The quality was not as good as I expected.
The problem came when my 17 year old daughter and I tried to put the 2 beds together. With both beds when it was time to put in the last screws the frame did not match up with the foot board and we had quite a hard time getting them to match. We finally had to turn the bed on its side and step on the foot board while the other one of us put the screws in. How absurd a process. One of the reasons I bought the bed was because a reviewer said it was easy to put together by herself. I can't imagine how she did this.

had a place on headboard where it looks cracked and is white in color did not like that at all otherwise i loved the bed thanks so much it would be almost perfect if it was not for this also bed looked dark grey in pic but was a goldish brown with dark streaks so i do not believe that color i received is puter but bed is still great looking would recommend to anyone my 2 granddaughters loved it

Bed came sooner than expected. It was easily put together, less than 30 minutes. Following the directions was easy. Was sleeping on it the first night and it was solid, no squeaks. Beautiful Bed.

Based on carton appearance, bed had very rough trip. Arrived with only small (concealable) dent.
Informed Hayneedle of the above and was reimbursed 10% or purchase price.

This was easy to set up. The bed and came and 20 minuets later the frame was ready to go. The finish is a wonderful blend with the dark wood of the bedroom.
