    Light steel construction
    Nice bed for the spare room or first apartment
    Only concern are the plastic clips holding the slats in place. They are holding fine so far but are clearly the weakest part of the bed.

      I like this bed, it's attractive and so far, feels supportive and comfortable. It was a little tricky to assemble, it definitely helps to have an extra person on hand. I wasn't impressed with the paint job, it has bubbles in the paint and is already scuffed and smudged in several places. Also, the metal has a couple edges that required filing down so they would not scratch me or tear my sheets. Still, I think it is a good buy.

        My recent purchase from Hayneedle.com was amazing. [...] My product (a bed) was actually cheaper than I was originally quoted, better looking, better quality and easier to put together than I anticipated. I couldn't be happier. I have never had a better night's sleep in my entire life. I have a cheap, floppy mattress that feels like heaven on my new platform bed. The key (I believe) is the incredible slat support system. You simply have to see it to believe it. There are about 30 small struts (wooden) that fit into plastic sleeves. These line the frame of the bed to form the platform. The unique curve or bow (the slats are bent so as to form an upright curve) provide unique and sleep tested support like no other platform I have ever slept on. Simply fantastic!!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Although this bed looks modern and color might seem appealing in photos provided, it's just boorish, unrefined and hard to pair with any other bedroom furniture. Metal pipes comprising headboard and footer are too thick. The platform is very high putting the mattress top at about traditional bed with boxspring level. Mine came with manufacturing defects like base legs not having bolt holes on the proper side for the base and headboard, welding bits that I can't get off and having to adjust the headboard with pliers and scratching it to fit into legs. Now, all I want to do is cover it up [...]
