I like the bed. It is a long process getting it together, but it is worth it. The finish is great, and the instructions were clear. You definitely need a power screwdriver for this one.

I used it in primary bedroom to eliminate some other dressers and create more floor space. I am using it up against an existing head board, have not attached the two together yet. It shifts a little on wood floor, but there is carpet in my future so not worried about that or that will stop when attaching the headboard to bed frame.

While taking a long time to assemble, it went together with no major issues. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It is a very heavy product, so be prepared for that. The finish scratches very easily and the unit arrived with several scuffs on the finish, not too impressive. For a product that will be shipped in this manner it should have a much more durable finish. One third of the possible storage space under the bed is unused empty space, that is a shame, as the point of the bed is to maximize storage. Make the inside area accessible!

We used this bed to replace our daughter's loft. We needed the extra storage because she has a small room. This bed was perfect!The bed is, for the most part, well designed. The surface finish was very nice [...]The instructions were almost perfectly clear. I would say they were better than most furniture assembly instructions.There were two minor issues with the bed:1) the wood sides for the drawers are light and fragile. We cracked three when tightening the screws. However, if you have any epoxy on hand, it's a quick fix.2) You may have to shift one end of the bed (after construction) left or right to get the drawers to fit perfectly. However, the tolerance is high, making that part easy. All the drawers work very smoothly regardless.
