The Studio Concord Platform Bed is a true chameleon. Its modern, headboard-less design allows it to fit into the master bedroom, kids' rooms, and guest rooms alike. You can add bright, bold bedding to make it contemporary or top it with your favorite family quilt and a pile of patchwork pillows to keep it more traditional. You can opt to add storage drawers below to make the most of the bed's floor space or you can keep it clean and simple all on its own. You can choose from four finish options that instantly create a different mood. And trust us - this bed can match every one of your moods just as well as it meets every one of your needs.
This easy bed is crafted with mortise-and-tenon joinery and durable MDF plywood construction. Side rails are constructed of MDF or plywood, and the entire bed is finished with a high-build, five-step finishing process - including two color coats and multiple sealers - to ensure an even, lasting finish. Four finishes are available: Choose deep brown antique walnut, honey-colored caramel latte, sleek black espresso, or fresh white.
The bed is designed with simple open head rails and foot rails for a true platform look. Two or four optional panel-front storage drawers finished in coordinating shades slip easily underneath the bed to catch clothing, toys, and seasonal linens. Two panel footboards are included when you order drawers; bed only options come with open rails on both ends.

Founded in 1983 as Watercraft, Inc., Atlantic Furniture started as a manufacturer of pine waterbed frames. Since then, the Springfield, Mass.-based company has expanded to Fontana, Calif. The company has moved away from the use of pine and now specializes in imported furniture made of the wood of rubber trees.
Atlantic's Unique Five-Step Finishing Process
Each product in the entire line is finished with a high-build, five-step finishing process. After a thorough sanding, a wipe-on sealer is applied, followed by a tinted sealer to even the grain and color of the wood. Additional sanding prepares the surface for the first base color coat, more sanding, and a second base color coat. After a final sanding, the finish coat is applied. This process produces a beautiful and durable finish that will last for years.

The only good thing about this bed is that it's fairly easy to disassemble! I should know, I've done it twice! The supports on this bed are practically nonexistant in comparison to most other platform beds. Because the wood is of such poor quality, you can barely sit on the bed without breaking it. If you sit on a corner of the bed the mattress will snap the side beam support system. This has happened to me twice. I only weigh about 150lbs! If you plan on using your bed, don't buy this one, it's only for looking at.[...] I am currently stuck with a bed that is proped up with toolboxes and books so that I can sleep on it.

Nice little bed for our daughter's room. Put it together in about 30 minutes and she couldn't be happier. Sure there are nicer beds, but for under $200, it's perfect.

It came so quickly! With Hayneedle the customer service staff on the phones were easily available, really helpful and very courteous. What's more, I got my bed within a week! Easy to assemble, looks great, really solid but light also. I'm very happy and will order from Hayneedle again.

Needed an extra bed for guests and needed something simple and compact. This was simple to assemble, didn't need instructions, does not take up much room and it fits perfect in the location I intended. Also it's high enough off the floor so you can use under the bed for storage. Waiting on a mattress so I can't say how comfortable or durable it is yet.

Just bought a Tempurpedic mattress, so there wasn't much left in the budget for a bed frame. I always wanted a platform bed, so I chose this one since it was inexpensive and had good reviews. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. It came in two long boxes and was very easy to assemble. Once it was put together and the mattress put in place, it turned out to be a pretty nice looking bed. It looks every bit as nice as the more expensive ones, and is well made. I am very happy with this purchase.

I ordered this bed on a Tuesday and received it on Saturday. Expected delivery wasn't until Monday, so I was pleasantly surprised to have it delivered more quickly. Fed Ex delivered it in two long boxes. Every part was there. No damage. Perfect.
