This is avery good platform bed. Nice and simple with a nice modern look, price is very good to. I found it pretty easy to assemble, not hard at all. Did it myself in about an hours time. The color is nice, it matches the rest of my furniture and doesnt stand out saying im different. Nice and suttle. The only thing getting used to is the sides. I had a regular bed on a boxspring so it had no sides. The sides that hold the mattress from sliding out stick out about 2 inches so for the first 2-3 days i knocked my legs against them but that was it. Great platform bed and would buy again, friends and family love it, especially for the price!!

Wanted a platform bed so I did not have to clean under it, but will use with a reg.bed skirt and comforter. To use as a platform bed it would really need another coat of paint around the base. The screws are a two person effort - one holds the bed up and the other uses an electric drill to get the screws in tight. With the exception of the screws - putting together is quite easy. Would look nicer if bed was 14" H vs 10" H.

The bed was promised on a Friday and did not show up. I called customer service on Wednesday ad was told they would call FedEx for a trace but it would take two days. I called back on Monday to find they had not called at all. They refused to send me a new one until I either paid for another order or waited until the refund cleared. Extemely unhelpful customer service!! Ruined my daughter's birthday!

I do not the edges I felt it would be better if they were curved at the foot of the bed--felt like I might need rubber bumper stoppers at the two edges. We being in out seventies I felt the instructions a little hard. When we bought our serta mattress we were told without their box spring it might not be as sturdy as it should be
