This bed was great for the price and looks pretty. [...] this bed was very difficult to assemble. I spent two hours with my father trying to put this together. While there are instructions, they were not always very clear. I would say the most difficult part was trying to figure out how the boards that make up the "box spring" should be arranged. If they are not arranged in the right order they do not line up with the boards for screwing the pieces together. We figured out, after much trial and error, that the key is to figure out the end boards first and then the other boards will fall into place after a bit of trial and error. Also, and I am not sure if anyone else found it a bit confusing, but the bed also comes with two wood guides which is not well explained in the directions that you are supposed to use to get the end boards lined up. These are crucial in getting the boards arranged correctly. I hope this helps anyone else thinking about purchasing this bed. Other than that the bed does look great and I am very happy with my purchase! :-)

I am a college student and currently look for cheaper, but nice, things. I saw this bed and I wanted it immediately. It was a pain to assemble though. Once you get the boards assembled for the base part, DO NOT move it or the whole thing shifts and you have to readjust it or everything else will be off. The mouldings were hard to put on as well. I wish they had starter holes for the nails on them. There aren't any so you really have to put muscle into it. They instructions say don't use a nail gun, but I recommend it. Just put it on a slow speed to put all the nails the bed has, or else your arms and hands will get very tired. Partical board is a pain.
In the end, when the bed is all put together and put in the perfect spot, it looks very nice. This is my first platform bed and I like it (now that the assembly part is over with).

The bed and the whole suit went together as they said, which is good. I really like the way it looks, clean and contemporary. The bed is very stable and quiet(I'm a newly wed LOL). The headboard however is completly useless, I would not recomend it to any one. A strong sneeze makes it rock, anything more would knock a hole in the wall. other than that I am totally saticefied!

Bought this for a guest room and think it will do just fine. It was quite easy to put together and looks exactly like it did in the online photo.

Assembly instructions were simple and actually assembling the bed was easy. The extra hour I had to spend measuring and drilling new holes was irritating. Over half of the screw holes were off just enough to miss the wood underneath.
