For the best in durability, the larger surfaces of this nightstand have an MDF core. A dense engineered wood, MDF is used in top-quality furniture for extra stability. This sturdy material won't expand and contract with temperature changes and won't absorb moisture as much as solid wood alone. The single drawer is constructed with sturdy plywood bottom and sides, robust dovetail joinery, and full-extension glides for easy access and years of carefree use.
