The bench is constructed with rich, durable wood and hand-selected sapele wood veneers, matched by color and wood grain to create a seamless, consistent look. Veneers themselves are stronger and more durable than solid wood as they resist shrinking, swelling, warping and cracking. They're finished here in a warm, dark Truffle with a linear ribbon stripe and raindrop pommele pattern.

The bench's plush seat boasts creamy ivory leather, tufted without buttons for maximum comfort. Below, the smoothly curved legs get added support from a wide, rectangular bottom shelf, sized perfectly for shoes, hatboxes, and other wardrobe items. The superior-quality frame is constructed with sturdy mortise-and-tenon joints, as well as securely fastened corner blocks and braces to provide the strength and support necessary at the piece's pressure points.
